This sophisticated charge controller will ensure the batteries are charged according to their voltage and type as Gel batteries need temperature compensation to charge them correctly. The controller will detect the voltage automatically for 12 or 24 volts. The controller can be programmed for switching the DC load output on/off using inbuilt light sensor so security or garden lighting etc. can be programmed to come on at dusk and off at dawn and any time period can be programmed using the control button.
